Reporting to: Retail Director

Location: Head Office, White City Place, West London

Contract type: 3 month Fixed Term Contract - Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

About the Role:


ME+EM is looking for a Retail, CX and Finance Data Analyst with experience in retail and customer analytics to join our marketing team. This is an analytical role in a fast-paced environment, so we’re looking for someone who is inquisitive and meticulous. The successful candidate will report to Retail Director with dotted line to Head of Commercial Analysis working closely with the rest of the Retail, CX and Finance teams as well as the data team.





Responsibilities

Business & Commercial Analytics

  • Understand business processes through data to provide actionable insights.
  • Produce analysis to support key commercial decisions, particularly in retail and finance, including new store openings.
  • Build weekly and monthly commercial KPIs, customer metrics, and insight dashboards for stores and Customer Care using data visualisation tools.
  • Apply the scientific method to operational KPIs to measure performance of retail stores, pop-ups, events, and digital sales channels.
  • Identify opportunities for new store openings through data analytics, including sales cannibalisation reporting between stores and channels.
  • Develop predictive models, working with the Retail & Customer Experience Director and Head of Commercial Analysis, to support retail sales forecasting.




Customer Insights & Reporting

  • Design and deliver monthly and quarterly customer insights reports, including product/category trends, seasonal changes, purchase frequency drivers, and returns data analysis.
  • Produce weekly/monthly reports on customer ordering behaviour and product trends across stores and Customer Care.
  • Provide ad hoc customer insights reporting as requested by leadership.
  • Measure and report on store performance for customer satisfaction.
  • Use data to identify opportunities to:
  • Increase customer base and market share
  • Improve retail and Customer Care commercial results
  • Strengthen customer retention




Clienteling Analytics

  • Measure the effectiveness of clienteling campaigns across UK, US, and international markets.
  • Identify customer segments for campaigns, highlighting trends and opportunities.
  • Conduct A/B testing and performance analysis of clienteling campaigns.



Skills:

  • Proven experience in an analytical role, ideally within retail or customer-focused industries.
  • Strong ability to work with large data sets (transactional and online).
  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools to report on quantitative data and generate insights.
  • Experience extracting and integrating data from multiple systems.
  • Skilled in customer segmentation and personalisation models, including VIP program development and analysis.
  • SQL literacy and experience with Snowflake (preferred).
  • Ability to challenge existing thinking and champion data-driven decision making.
  • Strong relationship-building skills to work cross-functionally and foster a data-informed culture.
  • Passion for the fashion and retail industry.
