As a QA Automation Engineer, we are looking for a leader who will will design, implement, and maintain automated test suites that verify our software's reliability, functionality, and performance. 

Working closely with development and product teams, you will build robust testing frameworks, improve coverage, and ensure timely feedback on new product features.


What you'll be doing

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for both frontend and backend components
  • Build and enhance test frameworks to support automated testing strategies for web applications, APIs, and mobile apps
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, product management, andQA) to define testing objectives and requirements
  • Analyse test results, identify issues, and work with engineers to resolve them promptly
  • Ensure thorough documentation for test plans, test cases, and automation results
  • Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines, working to improve release cycles and code quality
  • Monitor and report on testing activities, providing detailed reports on code coverage,test results, and defects
  • Continuously explore new tools and techniques for improving automation and testing efficiency


Do you have what it takes?

Preferred skills; 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role in software testing
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#
  • Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., MABL, Selenium,Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG)
  • Experience with API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in an Agile Development environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git
Nice to haves; 
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling)
  • Experience with mobile automation testing (Appium or similar tools)
  • Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow)
