Python Platform Engineer - Kubernetes - Ansible - Terraform - Docker - Linux - A technology-driven systematic Hedge Fund seeks to hire a Python Platform Engineer to join their engineering and automation team. The organisation focuses on algorithmic and high-frequency trading strategies, employing 1000 people across offices in Asia, Europe, and the US, with activities spanning futures, options, cryptocurrency, and equities worldwide.

The Python Platform Engineer will join a talented team assembled from some of the best technology companies in the market, both inside and outside of financial services. They approach tech and mathematics problems in a unique way and consistently seek to innovate and break new ground with their work.

The Python Platform Engineer will:

  • Proven track record in roles such as Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar positions.
  • Well-versed in containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Adept at using infrastructure-as-code tools like Ansible and Terraform.
  • Practical experience with version control systems (we use GitLab) and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI).
  • Proficient in Machine Learning engineering.
  • Skilled in utilizing REST APIs and integrating with other systems.
  • Excellent at communication and collaboration.
  • Extensive knowledge of Python programming.
