Product Manager - Settlements and Reconciliations

London - Hybrid
£70,000 - £90,000 + Benefits

Remote - Hybrid

Our client is an innovative fintech company transforming the global transfer agency landscape. Using cutting-edge technology, they modernise financial systems, reduce operational risks, and deliver market-leading solutions to their international client base.

Our client is seeking an experiencedProduct Manager Settlements & Reconciliationswith deep expertise in CASS 7 and European cash management regimes. This role is pivotal in translating complex operational and regulatory requirements into actionable business strategies, ensuring the development and delivery of industry-leading products.



As an experienced Product Manager, you will take a lead with the following:

Product Expertise:

  • Serve as the subject-matter expert in settlements and reconciliations, with a strong focus on CASS 7 and related European regulatory frameworks.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure product compliance and competitiveness.

Business Requirement Translation:

  • Convert operational and regulatory knowledge into clear business requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Analysts to develop detailed and actionable development specifications.

Product Development & Delivery:

  • Act as the Product Manager throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring smooth project progression and addressing any potential blockers.
  • Lead Agile development activities, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to align product goals, discuss solutions, and ensure product requirements are fully addressed.
  • Collaborate with solution architects to develop innovative and effective solutions tailored to regulatory and client needs.


Requirements


Must Have:

  • Extensive experience in settlements and reconciliations within transfer agency or asset management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of CASS 7 and other related regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven ability to translate operational and regulatory requirements into business-focused product specifications.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with solution architects to develop cutting-edge solutions.
  • Previous experience in a Product Manager role within financial services.
  • Familiarity with product management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and FIGMA.
  • Experience in process mapping and design using tools like Lucid Spark, Draw.IO, or Visio.
