JobSummary My client is looking for an experienced RF CommunicationsEngineer to join their engineering team. The ideal candidate willbring expertise in TETRA, DMR, P25, and similar RF technologies,contributing to the development, testing, and optimization ofmission-critical communication systems. This role will involveworking closely with software engineers, network architects, andfield teams to ensure their communications solutions meet industrystandards and exceed client expectations. Key Responsibilities -Design, develop, and implement RF communication systems formission-critical environments. - Evaluate and test new and existingRF technologies (TETRA, P25, DMR, LTE/5G) to ensure compatibilityand performance within their systems. - Collaborate withcross-functional teams to integrate RF systems with backendsoftware and network infrastructure. - Conduct field testing toassess coverage, signal strength, and reliability across variousenvironments. - Troubleshoot and resolve RF performance issues,both in the lab and in live environments. - Develop comprehensivetechnical documentation, including RF design specifications anduser guides. - Keep up to date with advancements in RF andcommunication technology to provide insights for future productdevelopment. Required Skills and Qualifications - Bachelor’s orMaster’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, orrelated field. - 5+ years of experience working with RFcommunication technologies (TETRA, P25, DMR, LTE, 5G). -Proficiency in RF design, analysis, and optimization tools (e.g.,MATLAB, HFSS, Ansys). - Strong understanding of radio frequencypropagation principles and digital modulation techniques. -Experience with test equipment like spectrum analyzers, signalgenerators, and network analyzers. - Proven ability to troubleshootRF issues in both lab and field settings. - Strong communicationskills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
