Summary

One of Oscar's long-term clients are looking for a Pricing Data Analyst with skills in SQL, and a strong commercial awareness to join their well-established Data and Analytics team. Their office is located in the Hinckley area, with easy access to transport links.

The role has opened up as the company are exploring the exciting opportunities and possibilities that data analytics can bring, and are looking forward to an enthusiastic individual to join their team to analyze pricing data, identify opportunities for pricing improvements, and develop models.

The role is being offered on a permanent basis, with 3 to 4 days on-site per week.

The Company

The company are highly successful within the retail space, and over the past couple of years they have been harnessing the value of data to provide essential company insights, innovation and decision-making.

You will be joining their Data and Analytics team, working closely with Senior Management, to enhance their pricing strategies using data-driven insights. Being within the retail space, data plays an integral role in the company's success, and you will be working alongside specialized team members, with the latest technologies.

The Role

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion in data, a problem-solving mindset, and eager to help shape the pricing strategies of a thriving business. We are looking for someone to deep dive into large data sets, to really influence stock and pricing decisions - which will dramatically effect the bottom line of the business.

Analyze internal pricing data as well as the wider market to identify opportunities to enhance company profitability. Develop and refine predictive models Continuously improve data collection, analysis and reporting Work closely with stakeholders to present your recommendations and influence business decisions.

Essential Experience

Previous Pricing experience SQL Strong Commercial Awareness

We are looking for strong data experience here, someone previously working for a company that use Data Extensively is probably right for this position.
