The RoyalSociety of Chemistry (RSC) is seeking a dynamic Organisation Design(ODes) Specialist for 12 months to play a pivotal role in ourexciting transformation journey.The roleAs we embark on anambitious strategy for growth and diversification, we'reestablishing an ODes capability within our People and Culture team.This role offers a unique chance to drive the implementation of acomprehensive, organisation-wide ODes programme that will shape ourfuture operating and organisational models. You'll collaborate withan external partner while building and developing internalexpertise in Organisation Design. Your contributions will beinstrumental in transforming the RSC, ensuring we'rewell-positioned to meet our strategic goals and continue advancingexcellence in the chemical sciences globally. As ODesSpecialist, you will be responsible for:Analysing and designingeffective Target Operating Models Developing adaptive ODessolutions in partnership with the business Creating and executingcomprehensive implementation plans Building organisational ODescapabilities and leadership Ensuring timely, high-quality programmeoutcomes through expert project management Driving changemanagement initiatives and stakeholder engagement Providingtechnical expertise and mentorship to the ODes team Fosterinnovation and continuous learning in ODes practices Contribute toODes thought leadership and methodology developmentAt the RSC weembrace flexibility and offer hybrid working, which means our teamscome together when they need to collaborate.Although this role iscontractually based at our Cambridge or London office, you will beable to work from home within the UK, with the expectation that youwill attend the office as needed for your role. Ifyou need flexible working arrangements, please outline this in yourapplication.What we are looking for:Professional Experience:Demonstrable experience in ODes and change management on ODesprojects across multiple successful projects orprogrammes.Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse complexorganisational issues and develop actionable insights and effectivesolutions.Project Management: Proficiency in project managementmethodologies to deliver aspects of the ODes workCommunication:Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with theability to engage and influence stakeholders at alllevels.Interpersonal Skills: Strong collaborative abilities,fostering effective relationships across diverse teams anddepartments.Adaptability: A flexible approach to navigating andleading within a complex and evolving businessenvironment.Experience and Educational BackgroundForemost we arelooking for deep technical expertise and experience of deliveringsuccessful ODes programmes.
