Data Analyst/Administrator Ashby (possible Temp to Perm)


Pay Rate: £13.24 per hour


Location: Ashby


Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 start (may be slightly flexible with start times), 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week


About The Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a fast-growing logistics business expanding their Control Tower department. This role is an excellent opportunity to join a professional, supportive logistics team based in Ashby-de-la-zouch.


This is an ongoing temporary role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.


Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Logistics Control Tower function with data administrative and operational tasks.
  • Handling transport and international commerce documentation.
  • Working with Excel to manage, format, and analyse data.
  • Coordinating with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders.

Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Excel (essential)
  • Formatting (dates, accounting, numbers, general)
  • Converting to numbers
  • AutoSum
  • VLOOKUP (basic)
  • Pivot Tables (basic)
  • Sorting and filtering data

International Commerce Basic Understanding

  • CIPL Commercial Invoices and Packing List

Transportation Basic Understanding

  • AWB Airway Bill
  • MBL Master Bill of Lading (SEA)

What We Offer
