I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based inGaydonwho are seeking aModelling & Simulation Lead Engineerto join their team

Job Description

AsModelling & Simulation Lead Engineeryour main responsibilities are:

  • As a Modelling & Simulation Lead engineer you will be responsible for designing and delivering state of the art modelling and simulation methods and tools to validate and verify ADAS system designs.
  • Creation of modelling & simulation standards
  • Replay of logged data through models Software to enforce modelling & simulation standards
  • Automatic artifact (Requirements, test cases and reports) creation from model database
  • As a Modelling & Simulation Lead Engineer you will demonstrate exceptional understanding of Model in the loop (MIL) and Software in the loop (SIL) testing methodologies, ADAS simulation environments and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).

Skills & experience required:

  • MatLab/Simulink Simulation Python
  • Significant Systems Engineering V-Model specifically model based testing and design verification and validation.
  • Extensive software experience, including but not limited to: MATLAB, Simulink, Python, C++
  • Experience operating in a DEVOPS model CI/CD pipeline experience
  • Significant Automotive SPICE Process knowledge and experience.
  • Good knowledge of state-of-the-art test methods and techniques.
  • Good experience with test automation.
  • Experience with using MIL, SIL - open and closed loop testing.
  • Automotive network knowledge UML/SYSML modelling experience
