The Role

Are you a data enthusiast with a passion for transforming raw information into meaningful insights? We’re looking for a talented Fabric/Data Consultant with expertise in Azure and Power BI to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with cutting-edge technology, developing robust data architectures, and driving strategic business intelligence initiatives. Essential Expertise:

  • Proven experience in data engineering with exposure to Azure Synapse or Azure Data Factory or Databricks.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or a strong willingness to learn and adapt to its ecosystem.
  • Proficiency in Python programming with a focus on data manipulation and engineering.
  • A genuine interest in data science and a drive to expand your skillset into predictive analytics, machine learning, or statistical modeling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for optimising workflows.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to thrive in a dynamic consultancy environment.
  • Data modelling experience and understanding of the Kimball methodology


Desirable Expertise:

  • DP-600 – Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
  • PL-300 – Power BI Data Analyst Associate


Responsibilities:

On a daily basis your varied role will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Design, build, and optimize high-performance data pipelines and ETL workflows using tools like Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks or Microsoft Fabric.
  • Implement scalable solutions to ingest, store, and transform vast datasets, ensuring data availability and quality across the organization.
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable Python code tailored to data engineering tasks.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to support machine learning initiatives and advanced data modeling.
  • Drive innovation by researching and integrating the latest cloud-based technologies and frameworks.
  • Opportunities to learn, cross skill in AI and contribute to a culture of learning, excellence, and collaboration.
