As a Microsoft Business Intelligence Developer at Sword, you'll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing BI solutions that ensure data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, create data models, and develop reports and dashboards that empower users. This role can be undertaken on a remote basis with potential occasional travel to any of our offices across the UK. About the role: Engage with Business Analysis and Product Management teams to design and develop use cases in Azure DevOps. Translate the ADO use cases into designs. Engage with Data Architecture and Data Engineering teams to develop the reports and analytics to agreed data and technical standards. Prepare and analyse large datasets to deliver relevant insights. Provide technical assistance with training and support for the new reports and analytics Requirements Experienced practitioner in the implementation of reports and analytics using the Microsoft platform, including; Azure, Fabric, Power BI, Azure DevOps. Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of logical and physical data modelling concepts. Knowledge of data transformation and analysis techniques. Practical experience using an Agile delivery methodology. Ability to analyse datasets to derive meaningful insight. Ability to deliver innovative visualisations/reports within a business context and support the BI Business Analyst to communicate them to stakeholders.
