We’re hiring for a Media Data Engineer as part of Dentsu in London .

Purpose of the Role

To design, plan and oversee the deployment of taxonomies across all existing and upcoming client accounts, subsequently connect those accounts to the Data Refinery framework, and to train and upskill key stakeholders on data integrity matters to ensure compliance and efficiency throughout our internal data lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Leading workshops to identify each client’s specific taxonomy requirements along with establishing cross-client “default” requirements
Building each client’s internal taxonomy architectures in Taxonomy Manager
Implementing the new taxonomies jointly with the client teams in Taxonomy Name Generator
Ensuring continued relevance and compliance over time through regular check-ins with the client teams and using Taxonomy Monitor
Ownership of the Data Refinery onboarding framework
Working jointly with the client teams to identify their specific needs and ensure all data streams that can be automated are accounted for.
Deployment of the framework across all suitable client accounts, in a tiered approach
Upskilling key stakeholders ahead of formal training being deployed
Assisting the Learning & Development team with creating, maintaining and deploying the training material on Taxonomy Suite and Data Refinery, aimed at a wider audience

Qualifications + Skills

Experienced in a data analyst/data engineer with a strong understanding of ETL processes and their requirements.
Experience within the media sector is essential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong influencing skills, pro-active, diligent, and thorough with the ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner

This is a permanent role.
The team is based in our London office but operates under flexible working arrangements. The team are currently in the office 2-3 days per week (flexible).
