The Role
Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall ownership of Master Data structures across all key management systems.
  • Creating and maintaining a register of all data owners and the associated data responsibilities.
  • Implementing policies and procedures for effective data handling and management
  • Developing, maintaining and issuing SOPs for master data-related activities.
  • Creating and maintaining a database record of all data mapping keys between systems.
  • Analysing data and reconciling inconsistencies that impact analytical reporting.
  • Ongoing evaluation and documentation of database changes or refinements.
  • Applying best practices when storing, organising, cleaning and mining data.
  • Monitoring and assessing systems, recommending upgrades and modifications where appropriate.
  • Provide ongoing support and training for data users
  • Streamlining data structures , data collection and analysis procedures to enhancing speed of access to metrics.
  • Maintain data governance frameworks to ensure data integrity, quality and compliance.

  • Primary contact with Group IT function ensuring all data management protocols meet or exceed company standards
    What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience as a Data Governance Manager / Master Data Manager / Data Analyst or similar role
  • Proficiency in database maintenance, data modelling, and data warehousing is essential.
  • Familiarity with SQL would be ideal
  • Knowledge of Data Governance and Compliance and Quality Management
  • Project management capability
  • Awareness of change management and impact on delivering projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex data concepts effectively
  • Problem solving and adaptability
