The role:
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a critical role in building, testing, and deploying machine learning models that form the foundation of their AI-driven control systems. You'll contribute to their mission of transforming high-emission industries into more sustainable and efficient processes.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the machine learning team to design, build, test, and deploy models.
- Contribute to innovation and problem-solving across the machine learning lifecycle.
- Work with the product team to design and deliver customer solutions, influencing the development of the broader product.
- Establish best practices to improve internal processes and ensure robust, scalable systems.
- Develop tools and systems that enable the team to work faster and more sustainably.
Requirements:
You will be a great fit if:
- You have 1+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer.
- You possess theoretical and practical knowledge of various ML techniques and have implemented diverse solutions.
- You are proficient in Python and familiar with libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar tools.
- You have experience working in scientific environments, particularly in physics, chemistry, materials science, or engineering.
- You are passionate about mitigating climate change and align strongly with the company's mission.
What would make you stand out:
- Experience with time series modelling, industrial data, or IoT data.
- Expertise in system dynamics modelling, model predictive control, reinforcement learning, Bayesian statistics, or system identification.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment with agile processes.
- A degree in machine learning, physics, or chemistry.
- Familiarity with modern cloud computing infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).
- Eagerness to take responsibility for designing and developing innovative solutions to complex problems.
