Education required: 

  • Grade 5 in GCSE MathematicsandGrade 4 in GCSE English Language(or equivalent). 

  • BBC at A-Level to includeMaths(or equivalent). A-Levels in Citizenship Skills, General Studies, and Critical Thinking will not be accepted. 

 

Language requirement:Written and spoken fluency in English. 

Location:You will be based at Stevenage. You must live within a 60-minute commute of the site location on the day you start your apprenticeship as you are expected to be on site daily. 

Expectedstart date:September 2025. 

 

Duration:3.5 years.

What will you do? 

  • Discover ways to boost the profitability of a leading biopharma company,leveragingyour skills to analyse and interpret a wide range ofever changingdata sources. 

  • Be achampion for Procurement’s own Digital Transformation, advocating the use ofnew technologies, and encouraging Design Thinking principles with Procurement Professionals 

  • Assistin managing large datasets, ensuring data integrity and accessibility. 

  • Experience development opportunities, including formal training,coachingand mentoring 

  • Develop purchasing and negotiation strategies anddemonstrateproject leadershipunderpinned by sound data driven decision making 

  • Negotiate at senior or executive management level with our supply base 

  • Lead contract negotiations and review financial proposals 

  • You will manage spend across multiple functions, including marketing,manufacturingand research 

  • Gain in-depth and cross-sectional insights across theGlobal Procurementfunction. 

  • Identifyand develop opportunities to implement data science principles into Procurement
