We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Lead, Responsible AI Solutions.

 

In this fantastic, senior new role within AIMS (AI Management and Strategy), you will:

 

  • Lead Ethical AI Initiatives: Develop and implement frameworks to ensure ethical AI/ML development and compliance across HSBC.
  • Manage Risk Effectively: Embed robust risk management processes into AI/ML practices, ensuring alignment with global regulations and supervisory expectations.
  • Oversee Regulatory Engagements: Coordinate responses to AI-related regulatory and supervisory requests, ensuring clarity and compliance.
  • Shape Strategic AI Goals: Define and influence HSBC’s approach to responsible AI, focusing on ethical principles over direct implementation.
  • Inspire and Manage a Team: Lead, mentor, and develop a team, fostering a collaborative environment that aligns with HSBC’s values.

 

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

 

  • Machine Learning Expertise: Extensive understanding of AI/ML technologies and their practical applications in financial services.
  • Shaping Strategic AI Goals: Experienced in defining and influencing approach to responsible AI within financial services and putting Ethical and Responsible AI principles into practice
  • Risk Management Acumen: Extensive ability to navigate AI/ML risk, compliance, and controls in a financial services environment.
  • Strategic Leadership Skills: Experience driving large-scale programs and delivering results in complex, dynamic settings.
  • Regulatory Awareness: A solid grasp of global AI/ML regulatory frameworks and the ability to implement solutions that meet evolving requirements.
  • Collaborative Communication: Skilled at engaging diverse stakeholders, from technical teams to senior leaders, regulators, and industry groups.

 

The location for this role is London, on a hybrid basis
