You willcollaborate with product owners and your Chapter lead to shape thetechnical roadmap and implement best practices within your productteam (“Pod”) and the global Chapter of ML Engineers. You will workwith Chapter leads, subject matter experts, and other ML Engineersto deliver impactful AI solutions. WHAT YOU WILL DO 1.Technological Leadership: Define architectural patterns forscalable LLM pipelines, ensuring versioning, monitoring, and bestpractices. 2. Research and Development: Develop RAG architectures,explore state-of-the-art LLMs, and incorporate recent trends likeinstruction tuning, RLHF, or LoRA fine-tuning for domaincustomization. 3. Evaluation and Optimization: Analyze models forquality, latency, sustainability, and cost; define and own ML-Opsfor your Pod. 4. Experimentation and Continuous Improvement:Develop experiments for model evaluation and improvement alignedwith industry standards. 5. Best Practices: Establish scalablecoding standards for maintainable, production-ready systems. 6.Team Support: Mentor ML engineers to foster their growth. HOW YOUWILL SUCCEED IN YOUR ROLE While not everyone will have allqualifications, you might be a great fit if you bring some of thefollowing: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science,Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of experience inmachine learning projects. - At least 2 years in a senior or leadrole. - Expertise in integrating modern LLMs into productionsystems. Additional skills include leadership in agileenvironments, strong communication, mentorship abilities, expertisein RAG architectures, Transformer-based LLMs, model optimization,programming in Python with frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow,Hugging Face, LangChain, experience with containerization tools,cloud deployment (preferably Azure), and familiarity with databasesand data platforms.
