Lead Data Engineer – INOVERSE GROUPE

Bristol – Mostly from home with requirement to be in Edinburgh a couple of times a month.


Permanent – £90,000 plus benefits such as 20% pension, 40 days holiday, private healthcare, share scheme and much more.


Responsibilities

  • Develop multi‑sourced data model to create and deliver specific reporting data models.
  • Architect scalable data solutions, drive engineering best practices.
  • Guide technical direction of the team, ensure data quality and governance, influence broader data strategy.

Qualifications

  • Several years of experience in data and analysis.
  • Proven experience leading data engineering initiatives and teams in complex, data‑rich environments.
  • Deep expertise in the Microsoft Azure Stack and modern data architecture patterns.
  • Experience with data & analytics platforms (e.g. MS Fabric).
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and data orchestration tools (e.g. Azure Data Factory).
  • Experience with data visualisation tools, ideally Power BI, and delivering data models that support self‑service analytics.
