Job Description
An Innovation Research Lead is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork based MN medical device client company. The location for this position is in EMEA region with preference for Cork.
Role of this position
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to conduct research, collaborate actively with multiple segments and stakeholders and to develop cutting edge technologies. Identify and pursue new research directions for current and emerging technologies in machine learning, machine vision and robotics. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate an ability to work outside their immediate area of comfort, independently and be able to adapt and learn across a broad spectrum of technical areas. Serve as a researcher and software developer on teams developing hardware and software solutions for robotics and automation technology areas. The ideal candidate will have experience in computer vision and development of deep learning algorithms. Experience with TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, OpenCV is highly desirable. Participate in all phases of digital and automation system development cycle, including requirements definition, hardware/software systems design, implementation, testing, and integration.JOB REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field is required. Master's or higher degree is preferred. Experience with machine learning and computer vision algorithm development is required. Strong software development experience in C/C++ and Python is required. Experience in the development of deep learning applications is preferred Experience with TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, OpenCV, MS Azure is preferred At least three (3) years of related experience is required, preferably in Technology and Project Management.The latest news, articles, and resources, sent to your inbox weekly.
