We’re hiring an Innovation Developer as part of our team in Manchester working on a hybrid basis. Purpose of the Role The Innovation Developer will be building tools and scripts that enhance ways of working for the Media teams at Dentsu. Collaborating closely with the specialism leads, wider Innovation developers and alongside the Product Manager, they will support in brainstorming, defining and building appropriate solutions. This could be anything from an interface that speeds up how the teams research different creative routes, a report that queries multiple APIs to give a single viewpoint or a browser extension that helps teams understand the performance of a campaign. Job description With the support of a full-stack developer and product manager, leading the development of tools and scripts across the full software life cycle - from conception to scoping, deployment and ongoing maintenance Working alongside UX/UI designers to develop user experience Supporting brainstorming sessions to establish new solutions and products as well as proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes within the Media teams Maintaining development best practices (including infrastructure and documentation) Maintaining any tools or scripts as well as debugging production issues Supporting back-end engineers with creating and integrating APIs with user interfaces Collaborating with our internal Security teams to ensure compliance with dentsu's Security Policies and standards Candidate Profile We’re keen to meet anyone who’s comfortable with most of the below and are flexible if you have strengths or weaknesses in particular areas.
