Key job responsibilities You will be part of a teamof applied scientists and software development engineersresponsible for research, design, development and deployment ofalgorithms into production pipelines. As a technologist, you willalso contribute to publications of original work in top-tierconferences in Computer Vision and Machine Learning. You will beexpected to deal with ambiguity! We're looking for someone withoutstanding analytical abilities and someone comfortable workingwith cross-functional teams and systems. You must be a self-starterand be able to learn on the go. About the team The team is based inAmazon's engineering centre in London and consists of engineerswith a variety of backgrounds, from seasoned Amazonian to newlyhired; a mix of applied scientists, AWS experts and generalists,but all of us are learning and growing. We work closely with otherPrime Video engineering and science teams, including teams based onthe US west coast as well as in London. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS -Experience contributing to the architecture and design(architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new andcurrent systems - Experience in professional, non-internshipsoftware development - Experience programming with at least onemodern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-orienteddesign - Experience in one or more of the following: machinelearning, multimodal models, computer vision, natural languageprocessing and audio/signal processing.
