RF IC Design This is a great opportunity to be part ofMediaTek’s highly experienced global RF team working onstate-of-the-art 6G cellular RF products in advanced CMOSprocesses. Your responsibilities will include the specification,architecture design, circuit design, implementation andverification of complete sub-systems for 6G RF ICs. Your focus willbe on developing innovative signal path or synthesizer designs withleading edge performance and excellent results on first silicon.Location Our UK RF Design Centre is located in Maidstone, Kent withan additional team in Cambourne, Cambridgeshire. These locationsoffer an excellent choice of living environments in traditionalrural villages or local towns, with outstanding schools nearby.Both Maidstone and Cambourne are conveniently located within onehour from central London and main London airports. You will havethe option to choose to work in either fantastic location.Qualifications and Essential Skills • Masters graduate or PhD in aclosely related field • Minimum 5 years relevant industrialexperience • Proven track record of delivering high performanceCMOS RF transceivers to mass production • Excellent knowledge of RFsystem analysis and able to work effectively with RF System andApplication Engineers to define the specification • Experience withdesign in advanced CMOS technologies (16nm or below) • Stronganalytical skills • Excellent grasp of the integration challengesof complex RF systems-on-a-chip (SoCs) • Expertise in RF IC layoutoptimization in advanced CMOS technologies and be able to provideeffective supervision for layout implementation • An innovativethinker with a passion for challenging technical problem solving •A strong team player able to collaborate on complex projects aswell as successfully working independently • Able to communicateeffectively with people across different timezones and cultures •Excellent time management and organisation skills Desirable Skills• Experience with Cadence Analog Design Environment • Experiencewith EM simulation tools • Good understanding of RF performancerequirements for cellular systems • Competent in data analysisusing Matlab and/or Python.
