What We're Looking For

As theHead of Marketing Analytics, you will lead the charge in shaping our marketing strategy and driving company-wide success. You’ll spearhead a talented team of analysts, working closely with cross-functional teams in marketing, product, finance, and engineering to optimize customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership to deliver both immediate business outcomes and support our long-term strategic development.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing analytics strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives, ensuring the organization has the required technology, talent, and methodologies to meet short- and long-term goals.
  2. Collaborate with senior leaders to shape strategies that maximize both immediate and sustainable profit growth.
  3. Proactively deliver actionable insights and data-driven recommendations to the executive and marketing teams to inform and guide strategic decision-making.
  4. Keep the company ahead of industry trends by continuously evaluating and adopting innovative analytical techniques and technologies.

Team Leadership

  1. Build and lead a high-performing marketing analytics team, driving a transition toward more effective workflows and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
  2. Identify and recruit critical talent gaps to strengthen team capabilities.
  3. Mentor team members, promote their professional growth, and establish clear career development frameworks.
  4. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, empowering team members to innovate and achieve excellence.

Project Leadership

  1. Establish, refine, and scale marketing attribution models to measure campaign effectiveness across diverse channels.
  2. Drive optimization of acquisition channels by developing robust reporting infrastructure and conducting in-depth analyses for paid (e.g., social, display) and organic channels (e.g., SEO, ASO, CRM).
  3. Ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of tracking and signal optimization systems across digital channels.
  4. Develop and maintain forecasting models and monitoring systems to predict marketing performance, inform budget adjustments, and enhance revenue outcomes.
  5. Oversee the monitoring and ongoing improvement of the internal lifetime value (LTV) model, ensuring it supports business objectives and decision-making.

Requirements

Experience and Qualifications

  1. Extensive experience in leading marketing analytics functions, with 8+ years of analytics experience and at least 4 years specifically in marketing analytics.
  2. Proven track record of driving measurable business impact through analytics.
  3. Deep understanding of marketing strategies, including customer acquisition, retention, and lifecycle dynamics.
  4. Expertise in marketing attribution models, forecasting techniques, and optimization strategies.
  5. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Marketing, Data Science).

Technical Expertise and Project Management Skills

  1. Strong understanding of tracking technologies for app and web traffic.
  2. Proficiency in key analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Appsflyer) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
  3. Advanced SQL knowledge.
  4. Hands-on experience with predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI techniques.
  5. Proven success in developing in-house attribution solutions and media mix modeling.
  6. Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.

Strategic and Analytical Mindset

  1. Pragmatic and strategic problem-solving skills, leveraging first-principles thinking to solve complex challenges.
  2. Ability to align analytics initiatives with broader business goals to drive measurable outcomes.
  3. Strong business acumen and a focus on value-driven decision-making.

Leadership and Communication Skills

  1. Experience in leading teams, mentoring talent, and developing scalable processes.
  2. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly and persuasively to executive stakeholders.
