Head of Data Science | London (Hybrid) | Financial Services Credit| up to £140,000

Peaple Talent have partnered with one of the UKs most recognisable financial services companies. They specialise in giving customers credit they need, enhancing credit scores, and boosting financial health.

Due to exciting growth plans we are now looking for an experienced Head of Data Science, to lead a team working on solving problems across many aspects of a set of consumer lending products.

This role will be responsible for guiding and growing a team of data scientists, driving the creation, implementation, and oversight of high-quality models and statistical algorithms across the organisation.

We are looking for:
A number of years experience in a Data Science leadership position
Track record of developing and coaching high performance teams
Must come from a strong technical background, being able to act hands on when needs be
Aptitude to embrace AI and its potential for the business, helping to identify and deliver AI projects across the business
A strong industry background within Financial Services, working specifically in Credit, Risk or Lending Institutions
