HEAD OF DATA ENGINEERING

£110,000-120,000 PER ANNUM

This UK-based Insurance start-up are searching for a new Head of Data Engineering, you will take command of their Data function. You will be responsible for managing the team and helping the team to develop the Data strategy.

THE COMPANY

This UK company specialises in the commercial insurance space- they specialise in working on large insurance deals. They have recently received large funding and are developing their data function to deal with the increase in clients.

THE ROLE

You will be joining a new and exciting Data Team. In this role, you will manage the whole data strategy across the business, and be involved in strategic business conversations.

  • Planning and reporting findings from the team.
  • Stakeholder Management.
  • Building and maintaining an Azure-based platform.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience running a multiskilled team.
  • Strong coding experience using Python.
  • Experience working within cloud platforms.
  • Commercial experience owning the Data strategy and Platform at a large company.
