The role in a nutshell
We are working with a delightful organisation offering a great culture and opportunity to develop your career. This one is not to be missed. As head of business analysis you will be responsible for leading a large team of experienced business analysts working across a range of innovative and modern solutions. The solutions include cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML).

Your role is to be a leader and mentor helping to drive best practice and deliver a consistent level of high quality output. You will champion the cause of business analysis across the whole organisation by creating an environment where your team can flourish and deliver amazing results.

Key elements of the role

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Business Analysts to ensure consistent and impactful delivery.
Drive the professional maturity of the Business Analysis function, aligning it with organisational objectives.
Promote best practices in Business Analysis tools, techniques, and methodologies across the organsation.
Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to understand needs, resolve challenges, and deliver solutions.
Support large-scale transformation programs by embedding robust Business Analysis practices.
Build a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.To be considered you will need most of this experience

Significant experience in leading teams including analysts.
Strong and demonstrable experience of Business Analysis tools, methodologies, and frameworks.
A people first approach to the mentoring and development of teams.
Previous experience of working on large transformation programmes.
1st class communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical groups.
Experience managing staff with direct performance and development responsibilities.
