THE ROLE:
You will support Scientists in conducting computer-based image analysis of histopathology sections, generating high-quality quantitative data for clients. Working within a friendly, efficient, and collaborative team, you will apply your biology expertise and computing skills with a focus on precision and accuracy. The role involves:

Conducting image analysis using advanced, state-of-the-art systems.
Extracting, organising, and summarising data using Excel spreadsheets.
Creating graphical representations of data and performing statistical analyses.
Contributing to the development of high-quality written reports.
Ensuring seamless implementation of client study requirements through effective communication via email, teleconferences, online platforms, or in-person meetings.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Relevant degree in life sciences or data science.
Experience in pathology/histology would be advantageous.
Familiarity with image analysis software would be beneficial, but not required.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to perform tasks accurately and to a high standard.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

LOCATION
The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining home and office-based work. Employees are required to work at least two days per week in the office, (three days per week for the first six months of employment). The office is located at BioCity Glasgow, which provides free on-site parking. 

SALARY & BENEFITS:

£26,000 - £32,000, dependent on experience.
32 days holiday per annum.
