Graduate Data Analyst - Stockport

Up to £26,000

We are seeking an enthusiastic Graduate / Junior Data Analyst with a passion for data analytics, Excel & SQL to join our professional services client's analytics team in Stockport. In this role, you will work in a team and develop valuable data insights.

We are looking for either graduates, or equivalent professional experience, with practical hands-on experience and knowledge. This is an entry-level role, and you will receive full support and training to help you upskill and improve your data analysis and reporting confidence. They will put your through relevant data analytics certification.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Data related area such as Mathematics, Statistics, Business Finance, Science / similar data analytics heavy degree, or 1+ year of professional Data Analysis experience.
  • Strong experience with Excel and SQL
  • Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Evidence of self-learning and continual development outside of a university degree, and an eagerness to continue upskilling.

You will receive full training in this role, including data visualisation tools and the Microsoft BI Stack (e.g. SSIS/SSRS/SSAS), to build on your existing knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Create charts, reports, and infographics using data visualisation tools
  • Compile, process, cleanse, analyse, and present data from various sources
  • Process large amounts of complex data
  • Create monthly reports and contribute to data mining and forecasting.

Our client is looking to pay a starting salary of £24-26k. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for someone eager to build their career in data analysis. You'll receive full support and training, gain hands-on exposure to a wide range of tools, and develop skills that are vital for data analytics.
