The Global Technology Strategy team is an internal management consulting team that works with the GT Executive Team to drive technology strategy and plans that define how technology should be utilized to enable the organization's overall business strategy, including in areas such as AI, Public Cloud Adoption, Quantum technology, Data strategy, Software Engineer and Customer Experience etc. This role will apply knowledge of best practices to define and shape the overall strategy, governance, organization structure, operating model, architecture and processes for Global Technology.

As an Executive Director on the Global Technology Strategy team, you will lead project teams in solving complex problems and implementation issues critical to the company, work closely with senior leaders across GT and JPMorgan Chase, and own a portfolio of key strategic initiatives to evaluate the firmwide view on technology strategy. This role will be focused primarily on owning the portfolio of work aligned to the JPMorgan Chase Markets technology team along with firmwide focus.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Lead initiatives/projects to solve diverse and complex problems with a deep focus on Markets technology, that are of high priority to Global Technology Leadership and at the forefront of the industry (., modernization, AI, data, cloud), including restructuring businesses and enhancing organizational design to improve effectiveness Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader for GT senior leaders, and collaborate with teams across Global Technology as well as other Businesses and functional areas  Monitor industry trends and apply industry-leading practices to evaluate the firmwide view on technology strategy Craft and deliver executive-level technology strategy narratives, deliverables and analyses  Scope and direct strategic thinking and problem solving approach for project teams; develop team members and junior managers

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

At least 10+ years of business and technology strategy experience within internal strategy teams or management consulting firms Experience in working in a Markets business, understanding of technology capabilities and transformations to modernize Strong relationship and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with senior business and Technology executives Familiarity with technical concepts, operating models and a strong passion for technology and staying abreast of industry trends Organizes and prioritizes critical issues and required information to facilitate efficient decision making; provides oversight and guidance to team projects of highest priority and importance Able to distill widely variant feedback into root cause issues and provide actionable feedback to other senior stakeholders. Excellent technical and business presentation, writing, and verbal communication skills Proven expertise in leading strategic projects Strong facilitation, process and influencing skills Proven entrepreneurial style

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Undergraduate or graduate degree in Economics, Finance, Math, Engineering (or related field) Experience applying data analysis to solve business problems in fast-moving environment Experience with cross-functional collaboration, including influencing stakeholders and working with diverse teams
