Position Overview
TheGlobal Head of Business Developmentwill play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Aktiia's strategic partnerships, market expansion, and revenue growth initiatives. This leader will identify new business opportunities, foster key relationships, and work cross-functionally to establish Aktiia as the leading blood pressure intelligence platform. The ideal candidate is a creative, strategic self-starter able to be both player and coach, comfortable operating in ambiguity and helping write the playbook while executing it. This role will be responsible for revenue targets.

Location:Boston MA, USA preferred / Remote Possible

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Strategy & Growth: Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to accelerate revenue growth and market penetration
  • Partnership Development: Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships for Aktiia's platform across a broad ecosystem of organizations in consumer and healthcare enterprises
  • Market Expansion: Formulate a country-specific enterprise strategy according to organizational priorities
  • Sales & Revenue Generation: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to create and drive revenue streams
  • Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing business development team to support growth objectives
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions

Qualifications & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or sales leadership within the health tech, consumer tech, or digital health industries
  • Specifically targeting:
    • Retail partnerships
    • 3rd party distribution
    • Corporate partnerships
  • Proven track record of successfully driving revenue growth and expanding into new markets
  • Proven builder and leader scaling successful teams
  • Experience in negotiating and structuring complex partnership agreements
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a hands-on approach
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Understanding global healthcare regulations and reimbursement models is a plus
