Salary:£160,000 base + ~£75,000 bonus

Summary:

One of the world's most prestigious multi-strategy funds is looking for an experienced software developer to join as a Senior Technical Lead, responsible for end-to-end development and maintenance.

A global, yet very hands-on Tech Lead position, the successful candidate will cover both backend and frontend UI aspects for this greenfield initiative. You'll architect, design and develop interfaces for the OMS/EMS software, ensuring seamless user interaction/experience, as well as scalability and performance.

Fantastic team leadership skills are crucial to be successful in this role, as is the ability to work independently with huge amounts of autonomy and project ownership.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • 5+ years' hands-on software development experience
  • Expertise across the full stack (slight preference towards backend due to make-up of team): Java, Javascript, React and Angular
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Previous financial services experience
  • Deep understanding of software engineering principles, theories, and concepts


Desirable Experience (highly valued, but not essential):

  • Financial experience, specifically within equity trading OMS/EMS, is beneficial
  • Data-intensive technologies & concepts, e.g. Big Data, and cloud technologies (GCP preferred)
