Join our mission to create meaningful social impact through the power of immersive entertainment. We’ve sold over 1.4 million tickets in 3 years across 10 countries, and we’re looking for a talented developer to join our Systems team to help expand, consolidate, and strengthen our tech stack—particularly focusing on building and owning our analytics infrastructure.

About Us

We’re a fast-growing global entertainment company ($14M revenue, 60+ team members) creating immersive experiences that drive real social change. Our customers don’t just buy tickets—they become part of something bigger. We’re ambitious, creative, and impact-driven, blending art, technology, and storytelling to deliver world‑class experiences.

About The Role

We’re seeking a versatile, full‑stack developer with strong data engineering capabilities to join our stellar international team. You will work directly with the Head of Systems to bring technical projects to life, with primary ownership of our analytics pipeline and data infrastructure—handling everything from ETL processes and data warehouse management to real‑time dashboards and GDPR‑compliant data architecture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the implementation and maintenance of our analytics pipeline, ensuring data flows seamlessly from source systems to actionable insights.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain our Snowflake data warehouse, optimizing performance and managing costs.
  • Implement and manage FiveTran connectors and orchestrate ETL/ELT processes for data transformation.
  • Build and maintain real‑time dashboards displaying live operational metrics across our global operations.
  • Design and implement GDPR‑compliant data architecture, ensuring proper data handling across regions and jurisdictions.
  • Develop sophisticated SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models to support complex business analytics.
  • Create automated reporting systems and data visualizations that empower teams with actionable insights.
  • Monitor data quality, implement validation processes, and troubleshoot pipeline issues.
  • Develop and maintain software applications integrating third‑party APIs.
  • Build cloud‑based applications using JavaScript, Python, Node.js, and Google Apps Script.
  • Create and customize web pages using React, Prepr CMS, and WYSIWYG SaaS platforms.
  • Assist with Shopify development and customization.
  • Utilize AWS services (Lambda, S3) to build, maintain, and scale cloud applications.
  • Provide occasional systems administration coverage during absences.
  • Integrate new tools using API calls and middleware (e.g., Make.com).
  • Maintain existing infrastructure based around Snowflake, AWS, Airtable, and Google Sheets.
  • Partner with teams across the organization to translate business needs into technical and data solutions.
  • Collaborate with Project Management and Head of Systems to deliver scoped projects.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Cover essential process‑based tasks during team absences to maintain business continuity.
  • Assist with routine operations and maintenance to ensure system stability.
  • Support live operations; occasional after‑hours support may be required.

Essential Skills

  • Advanced SQL proficiency with experience writing complex queries, CTEs, window functions, and optimization.
  • Hands‑on experience deploying and maintaining Snowflake (or similar modern data warehouses).
  • Practical experience with FiveTran or similar ETL/ELT tools.
  • Strong understanding of data transformation, ETL processes, and data modeling.
  • Experience building real‑time dashboards and operational analytics.
  • Understanding of GDPR and data compliance requirements, particularly cross‑region data handling.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, and Node.js.
  • Experience with AWS (Lambda, S3) and other cloud platforms.
  • Experience with API development and integration.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Apps Script).
  • Strong problem‑solving, attention to detail, and curiosity.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with BI tools and data visualization platforms (Looker, Tableau, Metabase, etc.).
  • Experience building or integrating AI tools, such as customer‑facing chatbots or internal AI workflows.
  • Web development experience (React / Next.js a plus).
  • Experience with Shopify development.
  • Knowledge of data streaming technologies for real‑time processing.
  • A great sense of humour and a collaborative spirit.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary.
  • The opportunity to drive real social change through entertainment.
  • Ownership of critical data infrastructure for a global creative brand.
  • Work with a passionate international team spanning 12 countries.
  • Direct impact on high‑visibility, strategic projects.
  • Equity and career progression opportunities as we scale.
  • Fully remote work and fully flexi‑time.
  • Up to 35 days of paid time off per year.
  • A kind, supportive company culture we’re proud of.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Success in this role will be measured by your ability to deliver stable, scalable, and high‑quality technical solutions that drive operational efficiency. You’ll know you’re thriving when:

  • Analytics Pipeline Performance: Data flows reliably from sources to warehouse with minimal latency; ETL processes run on schedule with high success rates.
  • Real‑Time Dashboard Availability: Live operational dashboards maintain >99% uptime and provide accurate, actionable metrics.
  • Data Quality & Compliance: Reports provide accurate insights with clean data; GDPR requirements are consistently met across all regions.
  • Project Delivery: Technical projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet functional requirements.
  • Integration Accuracy: API and system integrations run smoothly with minimal errors or downtime.
  • System Reliability: Cloud infrastructure remains stable, secure, and well‑documented.
  • Collaboration: Cross‑functional stakeholders report clear communication, responsiveness, and high satisfaction.
  • Innovation: You proactively suggest tools or improvements that enhance system performance or automation.
  • Support Coverage: Essential processes remain uninterrupted during absences, ensuring business continuity.

Our Values & Expectations

  • Respect and consideration for other team members and our audience.
  • Ethics — we push the boundaries of technology but always act with honesty and integrity.
  • Collaboration — we succeed as a team, not as individuals.
  • Ownership of mistakes — and the ability to turn them into learning opportunities.
  • Open, honest communication — we value transparency and trust.
  • World‑class standards and attention to detail in everything we do.
  • Humour — because we take our work seriously but not ourselves.
