Job Details

JobMatcha are recruiting for a hard-working Full Stack Developer to support our AI and Data Science projects. In this role, you will play a crucial part in transforming innovative ideas into Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) that leverage Azure's technology stack. We are seeking someone with experience in web application development, user interface design, automated testing, and building secure APIs.

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning

Work closely with the Head of AI, AI product and project managers, and business/technology stakeholders, to gather requirements and translate those to development tasks. Plan product versions and releases. Assist in the development of suitable and applicable processes for release management activities

Acquisition & Deployment

Web Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain controlled, robust and scalable Python-based web applications using Azure technologies, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. User Interface Development: Collaborate with data scientists to design and create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance user experience and engagement – developing in a consistent and transparent manner, enhancing and retrofitting the development process for in flight projects. Operational Management

Ensure that all development tasks are logged and documented in a systematic and agreed manner on platforms such as Azure DevOps board, Microsoft Loop, SharePoint, ITSM tooling etc. Ensure ongoing reliable knowledge capture through suitable documentation to support ongoing service operations and collaboration. Lead and participate in daily standups and weekly development planning meetings.

    Competencies and Requirements for the position:

    Must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software engineering or a related field

    Must have great understanding of databases, working knowledge of Postgres and working knowledge of querying languages like SQL

    Strong experience working with React, Streamlit and JavaScript

    Proficiency with code version controlling and remote repositories: Git, Repo branching strategies

    Programming Language and backend technology: PYTHON, Node JS (optional), Fast or FLASK API development framework, Docker

    CI/CD, Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, and monitoring/logging solutions, Azure DevOps
