Front-End Software Developer – Mid/Senior
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Front- End Software Engineer to join a software company who have built a cutting-edge web application that supports research and development teams in making better, faster decisions through machine learning and data insights. You’ll work closely with other engineers as well as product and ML specialists to evolve the user-facing side of the platform.
Location: Cambridge (minimum 3 days in office each week)
Salary: £45,000 – £65,000 per annum + 25 days holiday + benefits
Requirements for Front-End Software Developer:

  • Very strong front-end development skills using React
  • You have several years of experience in a commercial role within development
  • You have an eye for UI/UX Design
  • Other technologies that would be beneficial; TypeScript, node JavaScript, Git, Python
  • Experience writing tests using Jest or other front-end test frameworks
  • Experience using terminal-based technologies like: NPM, NVM, or Docker
  • Team-player with a friendly, can-do attitude – this organisation has a great working culture which they would like to maintain
  • Good communication skills
    Responsibilities for Front-End Software Developer:
    The platform is built with modern web technologies (i.e. React/TypeScript) and connects to a backend system to support data processing and analysis. It allows users to interact with complex datasets and machine learning features through a user-friendly interface.
    You’ll be responsible for implementing and improving interactive components, ensuring smooth performance and a great user experience, especially when dealing with complex state and data-heavy workflows.
