Due to our continued growth, we are recruiting a finance and data analyst.


About the Role

We are seeking a Finance and Data Analyst to join our growing team. Working at the heart of a dynamic professional services business, you will play a critical role in delivering timely, accurate, and insightful financial and operational reporting across the firm. In addition to reporting, you will support a range of finance activities, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and the smooth running of supplier relationships.

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance or data professional looking to broaden their experience in a varied, hands-on role.

What you'll be doing:


  • Reporting and Analytics.Collate, analyse, and distribute financial and operational reports to key stakeholders across the business.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and visual reports to support decision-making.
  • Monitor KPIs, trends, and variances, and provide initial analysis and commentary.
  • Finance operations; maintaining data quality across finance systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Perform regular data cleansing activities to enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.

Who we'd like to hear from:

  • Desirable - Part-qualified accountant (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience.
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic formulas essential; macros/Power Query desirable).
  • Experience using financial systems and reporting tools (experience with [your systems, e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, NetSuite, Power BI] an advantage).
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a natural focus on data accuracy and quality.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Good communication skills, capable of explaining financial information clearly to non-finance audiences.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
