Now let us tell you about the role:

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this role requires a diligent approach to ensuring parties are communicated with regularly and that any issues are identified and solved in swift fashion. You will be primarily responsible for ensuring reports are collated and compiled each month, or when required, to an exemplary level, avoiding any KPI deductions from the council.
 
Responsibilities:
 
Manage all data generated by or arriving into the contract sphere
Collate and compile reports for the council
Alter reports to mirror any changes to the contract operation
Collate, check and chase all data relevant to the contract
Compile monthly and annual reports ensuring they are completed on time and accurately
All material moving from the contract
Monthly and other reports
Work closely with the operations team and those at the various transfer stations to ensure all the data is received in a timely manner
Assist with a broad range of ad hoc projects including finance projects and other commercial projects, as required
 
Skills and Experience:
 
Prior experience in finance/data analysis - the successful candidate will be given ongoing support
Strong analytical skills
High level of understanding of Excel and the ability to examine and interpret large datasets
Be able to react decisively and promptly to situations out of the ordinary
Enjoy working in a fast-paced and challenging environment
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
