Location: Field Based (Leicester) – With Travel


Hours: 40 hours


We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Field Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out hospital-based stock counts, ensuring accurate inventory management, and maintaining strong customer relationships across your assigned region. This is a customer-facing position where accuracy, professionalism, and excellent communication are key.


Responsibilities

  • Schedule and manage stock counts for your allocated region/customers, ensuring efficiency and compliance with SLAs/KPIs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with hospitals via email and phone to request and confirm appointments.
  • Carry out stock counts of various medical products on hospital sites using bespoke inventory devices and software.
  • Ensure inventory is correctly checked, counted, recorded, reconciled, and reported with supporting explanations.
  • Monitor product use-by dates and ensure stock is rotated appropriately to minimise waste.
  • Investigate missing products on site with hospital staff and patient records to establish usage details.
  • Produce follow-up reports of missing stock for hospitals and Territory Managers once counts are completed.
  • Communicate progress, changes, and relevant information to all stakeholders, including the inventory team, account managers, hospital representatives, and customer service teams.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements, including risk assessments, vaccinations, security checks, and safe working practices.
  • Handle STOK and customer data responsibly, in line with GDPR and company processes, treating all data as private and confidential.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as required.
  • Please note: you may be required to work within hospital operating theatres as part of this role.

Profile

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of stock control, including counts, stock rotation, discrepancy investigation, and audit procedures.
  • Experience in a customer-facing environment.
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS Office, CRM, and SAP.
  • Able to work under strict time pressures with strong time management, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Experience within the medical industry is an advantage.
