ScopeYou will be responsible for the preparation and execution of electrical test activities for spacecraft and payload integration and validation. This role encompasses the validation of Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE), integration of spacecraft and payload equipment, and the execution of global spacecraft validation tests. The engineer will work across various locations, including the UK, Germany, and Spain.ResponsibilitiesDefine electrical setups and test-aids for spacecraft and payload integration and validation.Write procedures for electrical integration and functional tests, including software sequences for spacecraft configuration and functional testing.Execute detailed post-processing of test data and prepare comprehensive test reports.Develop, integrate, and accept control command systems, specifying automation and IT needs.Create and maintain databases for satellite and test means, including scripting and documentation updates.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.Report anomalies and conduct investigations related to test activities, providing feedback and improvement proposals.Required ExperiencePrevious experience in electrical test engineering within the aerospace industry, particularly in spacecraft or payload integration and validation.Familiarity with EGSE documentation and electrical integration specifications.Experience in database creation, update, and deployment, with knowledge of database scripting and management.Ability to work in a multi-location environment with international teams.Required SkillsProficient in electrical and functional test setup preparation, with experience in writing test procedures and reports.Strong knowledge of software tools such as Elisa, TCL, Python, SQL, MATLAB, and VBA.Familiarity with applications like PREX, PRED, SAP, and Microsoft Office.Experience with operating systems such as Open Center, Unix, and Windows.Knowledge of high-frequency signal measurement, electrical power systems, and the spatial domain.Required EducationDegree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.Akkodis is a global leader in engineering, technology, and R&D, harnessing the power of connected data to drive digital transformation and innovation for a smarter, more sustainable future.
