DIRECTOR OF LENDING – DECISION SCIENCE AND STRATEGY

£100,000-180,000 (dependent on experience)

THE COMPANY

This dynamic and fast-paced lender is seeking a driven and experienced individual to join their team and own their Decision Science and Lending Strategy functions, You’d work on predictive models using cutting-edge Machine Learning techniques as well as wider credit risk analytics and strategy.

THE ROLE

• Work across a range of credit models within the business, predominantly scorecards and broader decisioning models
• Using innovative machine learning techniques to further enhance the model suite and drive profitability across the business
• Own the deployment and implementation of predictive models across the product suite
• Lead lending strategy development, using Open Banking data to drive profitability and enhance performance of the book

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Essential to have experience developing predictive models within a Credit Risk setting, though you don’t have to currently be hands-on with this
• SQL experience is essential, Python is desirable
• Must have experience within Consumer Lending and a strong understanding of the credit lifecycle
• Experience in a fast-paced environment and ability to work across multiple projects, in a FinTech

SALARY AND BENEFITS

• Base salary from £100-170,000 depending on experience
