Due to the continued growth and expansion of our R&D Department, we have brand new and exciting opportunity for aDigital Simulation & Analysis Manager,to strategically lead our Simulation/Analysis functions and proactively streamline our Systems Engineering applications, supporting future product roadmaps.


The role

AsDigital Simulation & Analysis Manager, you will lead and develop a high-performing and talented team of mechanical analysis and hard/software simulation engineers.

You will provide world-class computational analysis and simulation applications to provide meaningful insights & enabling technologies to advance the design/development of innovative prosthetic/orthotic technologies.


Key duties:


  • Developing and implementing the digital simulation and analysis strategies for the R&D team (active in both Software and Mechanical).


  • Providing supportive leadership for our System Engineering journey, bringing more insightful data and understanding on how our devices perform.


  • Supporting building and managing a diverse team of talented analysis/simulation engineers, fostering a collaborative, high-performing and problem-solving environment.


  • Creating and implementing performance management plans, regularly evaluating and providing feedback to team members.


  • Identifying and prioritising key strategic projects requiring simulation expertise, contributing to the R&D roadmap and determine ways in which to build greater efficiency in how launch new products.


  • Managing and overseeing the execution of complex simulation projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints, building business cases to secure future strategic investment.



What are we looking for?


AsDigital Simulation & Analysis Manager, you will have the following.

Key skills:


  • Degree in Mechanical, Systems or Biomedical or alternative science-based engineering.
  • Strong Understanding of MDR and medical device disciplines.
  • Ansys FEA/CFD, MATLAB. OpenSim and Simulink application experience
  • Experience in managing PLM solutions such as Teamcenter/Windchill/Enovia
  • Extensive experience in FMCG or Medical Devices around R&D, process or technology development roles or similar.
  • A neutral, proactive self-starter able to manage your own time highly effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced matrix organisation.
