Job Title: Digital Media Analyst - £35,000-40,000 - London / Hybrid
We are seeking a talented Digital Media Analyst to join our clients growing Analytics & Insight (A&I) team. In this role, you'll help to unify their data landscape into a single source of truth, supporting inhouse Business Intelligence tools, AI predictive models, and media planning.
The A&I team delivers comprehensive research and data analytics, using methodologies like audience profiling, econometrics, and TV attribution to create tailored measurement frameworks for our clients.
This is a great opportunity for a Data Analyst with expertise in digital campaign performance reporting and a passion for data analysis. You'll be essential in enhancing our data offerings to drive transformation for both clients and the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with Media/Client teams to establish media campaign reporting and insight requirements.
- Validating and verifying input datasets to ensure accuracy.
- Creating and managing client-friendly dashboards and reports to provide insights on campaign progress.
- Building and delivering mid and end-of-campaign performance reports with actionable insights.
- Maintaining client and agency benchmark studies.
- Liaising with external data, tech, and media suppliers to ensure top-quality service.
- Conducting deep-dive analyses to identify growth opportunities for client businesses.
- Facilitating self-serve BI across teams to enhance focus on high-impact areas.
How the Magic Happens
The A&I team leverages vast amounts of client data to uncover insights, identify opportunities, and develop data products that drive business growth. Our client will utilize statistical, algorithmic, and visualization techniques.
As a Digital Media Analyst, you will collaborate with team members to plan, build, and deliver various analytics projects. Your work may involve supporting media planning with research, customized reports, and bespoke data management processes, or assisting senior analysts with advanced forecasting models.
Our clients data sources are diverse, including industry research, macroeconomic data, web analytics, transactional data, and more. The complex business logic applied to this varied data necessitates robust visualization and reporting skills to support our strategic goals.
About You:
- Knowledge of Digital Media analytics is essential
- Deep enthusiasm for data and its role in driving continuous business improvement.
- Exceptional Excel skills (including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and advanced charting techniques); proficiency in DAX and Power Query is a plus.
- Solid experience in digital media performance evaluation and reporting, preferably in an agency setting.
- Familiarity with media data integration tools such as Supermetrics, Improvado, Funnel, or Alteryx is advantageous.
- Confident in SQL and possess a good understanding of database design.
- Experience building and managing marketing performance dashboards using Power BI (preferred) or Tableau.
- Familiarity with automated data collation through web APIs.
