Join Barclays as a Fraud Systems Senior Analyst, whereyou'll spearhead the evolution of our digital landscape, drivinginnovation and excellence. In this role, you will be an integralpart of our Cyber Fraud Fusion Center, delivering scalable CFFCservices to disrupt and prevent upstream economic crime. To besuccessful as a Fraud Systems Senior Analyst, you will need thefollowing: - Experience working with an industry leading digitalidentity, device, and behavioural profiling technologies. - Create& manage fraud rules, models, and other controls to optimizefraud strategies and policies for pre-payment fraud detection.Knowledge of rule creation withing ThreatMetrix, BioCatch,FeatureSpace, Falcon is preferred. - Engage and interact withvendors/internal fraud technology teams to assess and managenew/existing fraud detection tools. - Ability to enrich, transformand analyse large structured and unstructured datasets includingbut not limited to internal and external intelligence, fraud, andbusiness data in support of cybercrime root cause analysis. -Knowledge of malicious attack vectors used by cyber fraudadversaries to target the financial sector including but notlimited to device and behavioural profiling, location manipulation,identity fraud and account takeover. Some other highly valuedskills may include: - Escalate identified risks which may result inunacceptable fraud controls and losses, utilizing datavisualization. - Supervisory and mentorship experience, delegatingresponsibilities within financial services. - Experience workingwith an industry leading digital identity, device, and behaviouralprofiling technology. - Partner closely with governance and controlteams to ensure proper documentation, risk ratings and controls inplace for all rule and model executions. - Perform data analysis toidentify areas of potential fraud risk and/or potential opportunityto improve fraud policies, strategies, controls and customerexperience through SAS/SQL/Big data programming and statisticalcomputing. You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevantfor success in role, such as risk and controls, change andtransformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital andtechnology, as well as job-specific technical skills. Thesuccessful candidate will be based in Knutsford or NorthamptonPurpose of the role To develop, implement and maintain solutionsthat support the safeguarding of the banks systems and sensitiveinformation. Accountabilities - Provision of subject matterexpertise on security systems and engineering patterns. -Development and implementation of protocols, algorithms, andsoftware applications to protect sensitive data and systems. -Management and protection of secrets, ensuring that they aresecurely generated, stored, and used. - Execution of audits tomonitor, identify and assess vulnerabilities in the banksinfrastructure/software and support the response to potentialsecurity breaches. - Identification of advancements in to supportthe innovation and adoption of new cryptographic technologies andtechniques. - Collaboration across the bank, including developersand security teams, to ensure that cryptographic solutions alignwith business objectives, security policies and regulatoryrequirements. - Development/ Implementation and maintenance ofIdentity and Access Management solutions and systems. AssistantVice President Expectations - Consult on complex issues; providingadvice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalatedissues. - Identify ways to mitigate risk and developing newpolicies/procedures in support of the control and governanceagenda. - Take ownership for managing risk and strengtheningcontrols in relation to the work done. - Perform work that isclosely related to that of other areas, which requiresunderstanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to theachievement of the objectives of the organisation sub-function. -Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned supportareas to keep up to speed with business activity and the businessstrategy. - Engage in complex analysis of data from multiplesources of information, internal and external sources such asprocedures and practices (in other areas, teams, companies, etc.)to solve problems creatively and effectively. - Communicate complexinformation. 'Complex' information could include sensitiveinformation or information that is difficult to communicate becauseof its content or its audience. - Influence or convincestakeholders to achieve outcomes.
