Delivery Capability Lead / Manager

Location: Brighton / Hybrid (6 days per month in the office)
Salary: £63-75k per annum (dependent on experience) + excellent benefits including pension contribution of 27.5%, bonus and much more!
Contract: Permanent

We are hiring a Delivery Lead to join a government-backed organisation that plays a critical role in safeguarding the retirement savings of millions of UK citizens. You'll be part of a transformation programme driving digital maturity across internal and external services using agile, user-centred approaches.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a high-performing Data Engineering team, supporting major initiatives aligned with a newly launched data strategy. You'll help develop long-lived service teams, embed lean and agile ways of working, and ensure the delivery of high-value, secure, user-focused digital services.

What You'll Be Doing

Embedding Agile and Lean principles across teams, coaching teams through modern delivery practices

Leading delivery planning, performance tracking, and budget management

Supporting value-driven service delivery aligned to government digital and data strategies

Facilitating communication across technical and non-technical teams, including third-party suppliers

Leading on process optimisation, continuous improvement, and agile capability building

Ensuring product lifecycle alignment with Government Service Standards

What We're Looking For

Expert knowledge and experience applying Agile and Lean principles at team and organisational levels

Proven leadership and delivery management experience in digital or data product environments

Experience managing suppliers, delivery risks, and stakeholder relationships

Practical knowledge of service lifecycle, DevOps, and modern architectures (e.g., event-driven)

Familiarity with domain-driven design and digital government standards is a plus
