You must be comfortable speaking at atechnical level to teams and have strong written and verbalcommunication skills.WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?As a Oracle DatabaseAdministrator, you will be one of the key members of the DatabaseAdministration team contributing a large Supply Chain ERPtransformation, particularly leveraging Oracle Fusion, managing alarge and varied collection of Oracle Servers, providing support today-to-day critical business activities. This role will focus onthe use of modern technologies with a cloud focus.The successfulapplicant will:Maintain smooth operation and implement changesfollowing best practice;Implement and maintain backup and recoverysolutions to support RPO and RTO Objectives;Provide accurateestimates for their own work;Understand and apply a formal qualityapproach;Analyse customers’ incident and problem tickets withinstrict Service Levels;Liaise with customers and other third partiesto ensure that their requirements meet your development in the mostefficient and cost-effective manner;Liaise with internal Change andRelease Management functions to enable the smooth transition ofsolutions from test and Pre-Production into Production;Produce bothcustomer-facing and internal knowledge base documentation asrequired in line with company and customer standards;Participate inand facilitate knowledge sharing between Support, Development andService Delivery functions;Supporting the adoption of Oracle FusionERP, cloud-based solutions, data-driven architectures, andinteroperability frameworks. Act as the technical lead in theresolution of customers’ major incidents.Leidos strives to be arecognised global leader in solving important problems in national,security, health and infrastructure.
