Data Scientist (Mid Level) - Maidenhead


We are looking for a mid-level Data Scientist to join our client's growing team. You will use your skills in data analysis and machine learning to uncover insights, build predictive models, and support decision-making across various projects. You’ll also work closely with engineers, product teams, and other stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Explore large datasets to identify patterns and insights
  • Build and improve machine learning models to solve business problems
  • Design and analyze experiments (A/B testing, etc.)
  • Data Engineering Support
  • Work with data engineers to ensure clean, usable data
  • Build and maintain data pipelines for model input
  • Write automated checks for your models and processes
  • Work with stakeholders to define problems and share results
  • Present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Join design sessions to help shape the team’s work
  • Build domain understanding to improve model accuracy
  • Provide guidance to junior team members


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Math, or similar
  • 2+ years in data science or analytics
  • Experience building machine learning models and analyzing data
  • Background in designing experiments or solving real-world problems with data
  • Strong coding skills in Python or R (R is a plus)
  • Experience writing SQL and working with databases
  • Comfortable with data visualization tools
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and manage your time well
