Data Scientist – Maidenhead


We are seeking a results-driven Data Scientist. In this role, you will apply advanced analytical techniques and develop predictive models to extract actionable insights, optimize processes, and support decision-making. You will work on diverse data-driven projects, collaborate across teams, and implement scalable, high-impact solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis & Modeling
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Develop and optimize machine learning models to address business challenges.
  • Conduct A/B testing and experimental analysis to validate hypotheses.
  • Data Management
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
  • Design and build efficient ETL pipelines for data preprocessing.
  • Implement automated tests to ensure reliability of data processes and models.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Define project goals and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to diverse audiences.
  • Develop domain expertise to identify modeling opportunities and inform feature creation.
  • Technical Leadership
  • Mentor junior data scientists and review modeling projects.
  • Stay informed on emerging industry trends and best practices to enhance team capabilities.


Education

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.


Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in data science or analytics.
  • Proven expertise in machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.
  • Experience designing experiments and modeling solutions for business problems.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Python or R (R knowledge is a plus).
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools.
  • Experience with AWS or cloud platforms is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
