Job Description

Data Sciencist Location: Remote within NI Salary: Up to 55k base plus bonus. We're working with a forward-thinking organisation that's building real-world intelligence from data. They're now hiring a Data Science Manager to help shape their data and AI strategy - leading projects that turn data into actionable insight, predictive capability, and commercial advantage.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who can combine deep technical knowledge with clear business thinking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives.
  • Collaborate across departments to understand challenges and translate them into data-driven solutions.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines that support model development and deployment at scale.
  • Communicate analytical findings to senior stakeholders in a clear, commercial way.
  • Champion innovation - keeping the team up to speed with the latest tools, frameworks, and techniques in data science and AI.
Skills & Experience
  • Strong background in developing and deploying machine learning or deep learning models in production.
  • Skilled in Python and SQL, with experience using frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch (R experience a plus).
  • Excellent understanding of statistics, mathematics, and model evaluation.
  • Proven ability to translate data outputs into business insight and influence decision-making.
  • Degree-qualified (BSc, MSc or PhD) in a quantitative discipline.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing technical teams.
