A leading software company focusing on AI within the medical device industry are seeking a Data Scientist to join the team on a contract basis. The role is Outside IR35, immediate start and initial 3-6 months in contract length.

Data Scientist Key skills Required:

• Proficiency in data science programming languages (Python, R, SQL) and machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn).
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong understanding of regulatory standards (e.g., FDA 21 CFR Part 820, MDR, ISO 13485) and conformity assessment processes.
• Regulatory Compliance Knowledge: In-depth experience with regulatory and quality standards for medical devices, focusing on risk management and regulatory documentation.
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and deliver timely results.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Real-World Evidence (RWE) or clinical trial data.
• Familiarity with Good Machine Learning Practices (GMLP) for medical devices.
• Relevant certifications in regulatory affairs (RAC) or biomedical quality (CQE).
