Responsibilities
  • Supports the exploitation of data from key customer service domain datasets, including call logs, customer interaction records, feedback forms, and service ticket histories.
  • Coordinates the development and implementation of custom data models, intelligent algorithms, and AI solutions specifically tailored to customer service data sets, enabling enhanced automation, predictive analytics, and improved customer experience.
  • Executes projects under the guidance of the Senior Data Scientist, utilising machine learning algorithms and generative AI technologies - including chatbots, virtual assistants, and automated response systems - to achieve improved efficiency and tailored customer service results.
  • Champions, continuously develops, and shares knowledge with the team regarding emerging trends and advancements in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and generative AI technologies relevant to the customer service domain.
Qualifications
  • Programming and Scripting: Exposure to BigQuery, Python, and/or R, demonstrating entry to intermediate level proficiency in both compiled and interpreted languages for data analysis and solution development.
  • Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning: Exposure to developing and implementing custom data models, intelligent algorithms, and AI solutions, with familiarity in frameworks such as scikit-learn.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong curiosity and passion for exploring data-driven questions, with experience in time-series modelling, numerical algorithms, geospatial analytics, and interpretation of complex datasets.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven ability to identify issues and deliver innovative, data-driven solutions to enhance customer service outcomes.
