Senior Data Scientist contract
London, hybrid

We're looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist (contractor) to lead the development of an AI-powered chatbotwithin a dynamic membership ecosystem for iOS and Android. If you're passionate about Generative AI, conversational systems, and scalable tech – this role is for you.

What You'll Be Doing
Drive the design, development, and optimization of a production-ready AI chatbot using LLMs and GenAI tools.
Build conversational flows and personalization features that enhance user experience.
Integrate the chatbot with client documentation and backend systems.
Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and deliver a seamless user experience.
Collaborate with product stakeholders to align AI strategy with business objectives.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior data scientists.
Work hands-on in an Agile/Kanban team alongside Backend, Mobile, QA, DevOps, and Business Analysts.

What We're Looking For
~5+ years of Data Science experience
~ Strong hands-on expertise with GenAI technologies (LLMs, agentic AI, agents, Azure OpenAI API)
~ Prior chatbot development experience (a strong plus)
~ Experience with recommender systems is a bonus
